Tuesday nights Travis hosts a casual musical collaboration at the legendary 185 King St. in his hometown of Brevard, NC. There are usually 3 musicians and it’s often the first time they’ve ever performed together, making for some truly magical nights. Travis has hosted a wide range of musicians including Mike Ashworth, Anders Beck, Nicki Bluhm, Josh Daniel, Andy Dunnigan, Benny “Burle” Galloway, Mike Guggino, Jesse Iaquinto, Lindsay Lou, Tommy Maher, Mimi Naja, Lyndsay Pruett, Rev. Matthew Reiger, Jon Stickley, Barrett Smith, Kyle Tuttle, and Jon Weisberger. Every week is different, but it’s not just a jam; Travis brings intention to every setlist and every show and as a result, these carefully cultivated shows are becoming a cornerstone of the WNC music scene.
Aaron Burdett is an acclaimed Americana/Bluegrass singer-songwriter and performer from Western North Carolina who is listed as one of the most important western NC musicians by WNC Magazine. He has won awards in multiple songwriting competitions hosted by the likes of MerleFest, Mountain Stage, the NC Songwriter’s Co-op, and Our State Magazine. His last four albums have been voted top 20 Albums of the Year by WNCW radio listeners. His latest two singles; “Rockefeller” and “Dirt Poor” off his forthcoming album, made the airplay “top 15 charts” for Bluegrass and Grassicana music for six consecutive weeks in the second half of 2020. “Dirt Poor” reached number one in early October.
Live shows will be looking a little different in order to do our part with social distancing while still filling the space we have available efficiently. The garage door at the rear of our stage will remain open during all performances so that you can enjoy the show from inside our venue space OR in our outdoor courtyard. Tickets will be sold as table reservations. There are tables for groups of 2,3,4,6, and 8 people. You must purchase the entire table in order to make a table reservation. We do not issue physical tickets; however, your name will be on a guest list when you arrive for the show. If you are arriving at a different time than the rest of your party be sure they know the last name that you made the table reservation under. You can use the graphic below to see the layout of our space and the description of different seating options. Make a note of which tables would suit your needs and then click the "tickets" button above the artist bio to proceed with your purchase. We look forward to having you!
