Join us for 185 King Street's longest standing tradition. Every Sunday our house band kicks things off around 5:00. After their first set they invite others to come join them. Come start your week off with live music! If you want to join, bring your own instrument - we have a house drum kit - OR come to sit back, relax and enjoy the music!

The Feels is a soulful six-piece with captivating female harmonies and rootsy grooves. This group packs their sets with an Americana fusion, including influences of Soul, R&B, and Blues that will make you move right out of your seat! Singer-songwriters, Lange Eve and Sarah Roberts bring their spunky and engaging energy as they showcase their original music. This dynamic group is backed by Matt Gardner on lead guitar, Brian Grasso on bass, Matthew Roberts on drums, and Matthew Jennings on keys. The Feels is a fun mix of artists from the (past and present) WNC music scene- including members from Menage, Plankeye Peggy, The Afromotive, and High Flying Criminals. These musicians have a long history of music and good times together that can be felt and heard!

Laura Blackley is a singer, writer and purveyor of high lonesome Appalachian blues and soul. She plays ‘folk tunes with a rock n roll soundtrack’ with her band the Wildflowers. Their album, titled “Tell It To the Darkness” was released in April 2017.
Laura Blackley & the Wildflowers took first place in the North Carolina Piedmont Blues Preservation Society’s 31st annual Blues Challenge Band Competition back in October 2016. This win put them on the roster of artists invited to compete in the International Blues Challenge, held in Memphis, Tennessee in February 2017.

Eric has been piecing incredible duos together for our listening pleasure for a year now! We are so happy to have him. For tonight we decided to step it up to the next level. Eric will be filling the stage with fan favorites for a larger collaboration. We hope you can join.
Over the past 20 years, Eric Congdon has cemented his reputation as one of the regions best and innovative guitarists, as well as being a performer of incredible energy and creativity. He’s been featured in Bold Life magazine, Mountain Express, and the Times News, in addition to several TV and radio appearances across the region including WLOS and WDVX Knoxville.
