Save Our Spruce – Spruce Tip IPA Collaboration Release with Southern Highlands Reserve – Free Event
Saturday, November 07
Show: 2 pm

Join Southern Highlands Reserve (SHR) and Noblebräu Brewery at 185 King Street on Saturday, November 7, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM for a special celebration marking the annual release of Noblebräu’s popular Save our Sprice – Spruce Trip IPA.  Noblebräu crafts its seasonal SOS beer using spruce tips gathered from trees at SHR.  A portion of every SOS beer sold at 185 King Street is donated to support SHR’s mission of conservation, research, and education.  Last year, over $1000 went towards spruce restoration efforts.

High elevation spruce fir forests are ice-age relicts and the second most endangered ecosystem in the United States.  SHR is a founding member of the SouthernAppalachian Spruce Restoration Initiative (SASRI).  With the help of SASRI partners, SHR has planted more than 10,000 young spruce trees on national forest lands with a greater than 90% survival rate.

Come enjoy fresh pours of SOS Beer, connect with the SHR community, and learn about red spruce conservation efforts in the Southern Appalachians.  Cheers to this local collaboration protecting our forest.

Music by the Paper Crowns.
