Music, Food and Brews in Brevard's Backyard

Madeline Dierauf & Friends

Tuesday, December 17
Doors: 4pm // Show: 6:30pm
$12 to $25
Launched in August of 2020, Tuesday Casual Collaborations at 185 King Street has become a cornerstone of the vibrant Brevard music community. Every week Travis Book assembles a unique group of musicians for a one-time-only show, drawing on his vast network of friends and growing repertoire of musical styles. From Bluegrass to Blues, Songwriter to Americana, Country to Funk, Travis and his ever-evolving cast of local and national (even international) musicians consistently hit the sweet spot between preparation and spontaneity.

Travis Book is out of town this week so he handed the hosting microphone off to Madeline Dierauf.  Growing up in Brevard, Madeline Dierauf listened to and learned a diverse range of folk music and was immersed in the cultural traditions of Appalachia. She is passionate about the power of art and music for self expression, understanding, and community building, and creatively engages with many different traditional genres in her fiddling. In 2024 alone, she will release two albums, one with the regional group The Wilder Flower, and one with Boston-based Irish trio The East Coasters. Madeline has played on stages like those at Merlefest, The Grey Eagle, Charleston’s Pour House, and the Earl Scruggs Festival, and is a two-time South Carolina state fiddling champion.

Venue and ticketing information:

We are family friendly, but shows are 21+ unless accompanied by a guardian.

For this show you have the option of purchasing a table or a general admission ticket.

When purchasing a table you are purchasing the number of tickets that the tables seats.  For example if you purchase a 4-top table you are purchasing 4 tickets

General admission tickets gain you access to the rear of the venue, behind the seated sections as well as the backyard.  There are tables in both areas that are available on a first come, first served basis.
There is a garage door behind the stage that remains open in good weather so that you can enjoy the show from inside or outside.
