Jenn & Owen Album Release with Emily Elgin

 

Join us for Jenn and Owen’s Album Release show for their new album “Under The Hawthorn Tree”  They will start this evening’s show and will be followed by Emily Elgin so that they can spend time with friends and family celebrating their accomplishment after their set.  

 

Jennifer Rhea Linville and Owen Grooms play heartwarming original and traditional songs on guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle. Jenn grew up in Transylvania County, North Carolina, and has played music there throughout her life’s journey with her family and friends, including the bands Chrysalis and The Woven. Owen plays with Pretty Little Goat and other regional bands, and teaches traditional music through the Transylvania JAM Program.

 

Together, they offer sweet harmonies that bring ease to your soul and a smile to your face. Their debut self-titled album, ‘Jenn and Owen’  was released in June 2024. The album features Jenn’s evocative songwriting and soulful lead vocals, traditional tunes brought to life by Owen’s unique clawhammer banjo style and lead singing, and Jenn’s beautiful harmonies.  

 

Emily Elgin is an up-and-coming country singer-songwriter hailing from Oklahoma, now making waves in Nashville. With powerhouse vocals and a knack for storytelling, Emily’s songs reflect a life truly lived. Her 2019 debut 5-song EP “This Woman” has introduced her as a force to be reckoned with in the country music scene.

Emily’s journey through 2023 and 2024 has been defined by a series of standout releases. She kicked things off with her single Tuesday in June 2023, setting the stage for a momentum-filled 2024 with the releases of Should’ve Been Raining, My Luck’s Run Out, and the fiery Doc Holliday. Together, these songs have resonated deeply with fans, amassing over 260,000+ streams on Spotify and showcasing her ability to tell compelling stories through music.

Currently, Emily is touring nationwide with her full band, gracing stages and festivals across Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Illinois, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Her journey includes making it to Hollywood on the hit show American Idol, further solidifying her place as a rising star. She also holds a residency at Gray’s on Main in downtown Franklin, where she performs monthly.

Looking ahead, Emily is gearing up to release her next highly anticipated single, “Blame The Whiskey”. The track promises to deliver her signature emotional storytelling and powerful vocals, while her unique blend of country soul influence continues to set her apart in the industry.

 

Venue and ticketing information:

We are family friendly, but shows are 21+ unless accompanied by a guardian.  

For this show you have the option of purchasing a table or a general admission ticket.  

When purchasing a table you are purchasing the number of tickets that the tables seats.  For example if you purchase a 4-top table you are purchasing 4 tickets 

General admission tickets gain you access to the rear of the venue, behind the seated sections as well as the backyard.  There are tables in both areas that are available on a first come, first served basis.  
There is a garage door behind the stage that remains open in good weather so that you can enjoy the show from inside or outside.
