Every second Thursday means Honky Tonk Night at your favorite backyard music venue. Join us for line dance lessons at 6:00 and music at 7:00. Our featured band this month is Rebecca Porter of Virginia.
About this month’s featured band:
Born in Guam and raised in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Porter’s music is rooted in the rugged honesty of Appalachian storytelling while shaped by her CHamoru heritage and lived experiences. Her distinct perspective offers a fresh take on traditional country, pushing the genre’s boundaries while honoring its sonic roots. As Ed Helms’ Good Country wrote in its Spring Picks, “Rebecca Porter brings together Appalachia and the Pacific islands with her singular style of honky tonkin’ country… her identity and perspective bring in delightful subversions to so many expectations of the genre.”
Venue and ticketing information:
We are family friendly, but shows are 21+ unless accompanied by a parent.
This is a general admission show. There are tables within the venue that are available on a first come, first serve basis.
There is a garage door behind the stage that remains open in good weather so that you can enjoy the show from inside or outside.
