Fourth of July Country Cook Out with Jim Lauderdale & The Game Changers

Join us in Brevard’s Backyard to celebrate the Fourth of July with music by Jim Lauderdale & The Game Changers.  Please note that doors are at 5:00 today and you must purchase a ticket to enter.  When you purchase your tickets for the music you can add a ticket for the cook out buffet.  The music will start at 7:00 and finish in time for you to walk to the fireworks if you so choose.

AND IF HE’S NOT ACTIVELY CRAFTING NEW MUSIC, HE’S CERTAINLY THINKING ABOUT IT. “IT’S A CONSTANT CHALLENGE TO TRY TO KEEP MAKING BETTER AND BETTER RECORDS, WRITE BETTER AND BETTER SONGS. I STILL ALWAYS FEEL LIKE I’M A DEVELOPING ARTIST,” HE SAYS. THIS MAY BE A SURPRISING SENTIMENT FROM A MAN WHO’S WON TWO GRAMMYS, RELEASED 34 FULL-LENGTH ALBUMS, AND TAKEN HOME THE AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION’S COVETED WAGONMASTER AWARD. BUT FORTHCOMING ALBUM GAME CHANGER IS CONVINCING EVIDENCE THAT THE NORTH CAROLINA NATIVE IS ONLY CONTINUING TO HONE HIS CRAFT.

OPERATING UNDER HIS OWN LABEL, SKY CRUNCH RECORDS, FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2016, LAUDERDALE RECORDED GAME CHANGER AT THE RENOWNED BLACKBIRD STUDIOS IN NASHVILLE, CO-PRODUCING THE RELEASE WITH JAY WEAVER AND PULLING FROM SONGS HE’D WRITTEN OVER THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS. “THERE’S A MIXTURE ON THIS RECORD OF UPLIFTING SONGS AND, AT THE SAME TIME, SONGS OF HEARTBREAK AND DESPAIR—BECAUSE THAT’S PART OF LIFE AS WELL,” HE SAYS. “IN THE COUNTRY SONG WORLD ESPECIALLY, THAT’S ALWAYS BEEN PART OF IT. We are family friendly, but shows are 21+ unless accompanied by a guardian.  

For this show you have the option of purchasing a table or a general admission ticket.  

When purchasing a table you are purchasing the number of tickets that the tables seats.  For example if you purchase a 4-top table you are purchasing 4 tickets 

General admission tickets gain you access to the rear of the venue, behind the seated sections as well as the backyard.  There are tables outside and limited seating in the indoor general admission area.  For more heavily attended shows the indoor general admission area is standing room only.  
There is a garage door behind the stage that remains open in good weather so that you can enjoy the show from inside or outside.  Our general rule is if the temperature will remain above 50 degrees for the duration of the show the door will remain open.
