Join us for a night you will not want to miss. The Dangerous Gentlemen, known as one of North Carolina’s premier blues bands, are bringing their signature sound back for an unforgettable evening in Brevard at 185 King Street on August 7th. 

The Gentlemen have been playing blues, swing and rock and roll for 25 years in the Upstate of
South Carolina and North Carolina.

Members of the band include Brian “NC Slim” Philips on guitar, Eddie “Big Legs” Martin on guitar, Devin Neil on drums, Steve Folger on bass, and John “Kid Jr.” Trufant on guitar. The gentlemen have headlined Brevard Rotary Blues Festivals for many years. and the Brevard Blues Festival as a featured band for four years. They have won the Piedmont Blues Society blues competition and as a result competed in the of the International Blues Championships in
Memphis.

The band has also played with many renowned blues artists such as Anson Funderburg, Mark Hummel, James Harman, Doug Deming and Little Charlie. They have also appeared as the opening act for the likes Clarence Carter and at the Greensboro Blues Fest for Elvin Bishop.

Prepare for “rockin blues” ala Fabulous Thunderbirds BB King mixed with a dose West Coast swing and 50”s rock and roll’

We are family friendly, but shows are 21+ unless accompanied by a parent.

This is a general admission show.  There are tables within the venue that are available on a first come, first serve basis. 
 
There is a garage door behind the stage that remains open in good weather so that you can enjoy the show from inside or outside.
