Suns of Stars is a high-flying psychedelic bluegrass band who blends traditional bluegrass music with a unique, improvisational prowess. Since their formation in 2023, Suns of Stars has developed a passionate fanbase and is making waves in the ever-growing progressive bluegrass scene. Respected for their fiery improvisation and willingness to explore the unknown, each performance is a journey and no two shows are alike.
Hailing from Western North Carolina, the band features Alex Bazemore (Guitar), Jackson Chisholm (Doghouse Bass), Collin Pressley (Mandolin), Jason Flournoy (Banjo) and Alex Ball (Fiddle). In only a few years, they’ve shared stages with Sam Bush, Yonder Mountain String Band, Jon Stickley, Magoo, Sicard Hollow, among many others.
From the first note, Suns of Stars’ unique fashion shines, captivating you as they weave through traditional and modern improvisation. Their live performances are not to be missed, come ready to dance to a boot-stomping bluegrass show
We are family friendly, but shows are 21+ unless accompanied by a parent.
This is a general admission show. There are tables within the venue that are available on a first come, first serve basis.
There is a garage door behind the stage that remains open in good weather so that you can enjoy the show from inside or outside.
