“Highway Flyer” brings together four longtime friends and seasoned touring musicians from two of WNC’s most respected roots bands: Phil Barker on electric guitar and vocals and Zach Smith on bass, both longtime members of “Town Mountain”, alongside Matt Smith on pedal steel, lap steel, and guitar and Evan Martin on drums from “Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters”.
After years of shared stages and countless musical collaborations in different combinations, this marks the first time the four have joined forces as “Highway Flyer”. The band centers around Phil Barker’s original songs — including some chosen favorites from his Town Mountain catalog alongside brand-new and unreleased material.

We are family friendly, but shows are 21+ unless accompanied by a parent.
This is a general admission show. There are tables within the venue that are available on a first come, first serve basis.
There is a garage door behind the stage that remains open in good weather so that you can enjoy the show from inside or outside.
