This team-up resulted in Lucille Klement’s first recordings, singles “Summertime” and “I’ve Been Running” which have clocked over 50,000 streams and brought the band significant attention in the region. They’ve recently been tearing up the regional festival circuit with performances at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Boonerang Festival, and Sunset on Central.
At every live show, the group continues to impress with rock-solid chops and tasteful instrumental flourishes. Woodall’s roommate and occasional co-lead singer Maggie Aldridge, an accomplished musician and songwriter in her own right, enhances the band’s sonic dimensions through her keyboard with sounds reminiscent of 60s organs, 80s synths, and classical piano. Drummer Kevin Portwine and bassist Jakeb Hardin are both constant fixtures of the Tri-Cities music scene easily found performing on any given night whether or not there’s not an LK gig.
